The amount must be reached with ONE property — unlike the citizenship program. Some districts are closed to new registration of foreigners.
The right to this permit comes from the law itself, but the threshold is set administratively: $200,000 applies to transactions from 16 October 2023 by decision of the Presidency of Migration Management (Göç İdaresi) and is not published on its website — as of 03.09.2026 it appears neither in the list of residence permit types nor in the official FAQ. The figure itself is therefore confirmed only by secondary sources.

The threshold was raised from $250,000 by Presidential Decree No. 5554 (Resmî Gazete of 13.05.2022, No. 31834): Article 1 of the decree replaced «250.000» with «400.000» in subparagraph (b) and entered into force one month after publication.
