Historic Farmhouse in Capannori, Lucca

The restoration was carried out with meticulous attention to detail, preserving the style and local character: decorative dark wooden ceiling beams, hand-made ancient terracotta floors, and the restored stone facade. The main building, which has three levels, is positioned above an arch of the bridge, under which flows a small stream.

The house has 2 separate apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors, connected by an internal staircase, plus a small guest apartment and service rooms on the ground floor.

The apartment on the 2nd floor with a separate entrance includes a living room with a stone fireplace, a study, a large and comfortable open-plan kitchen with dining area, a bathroom and a bedroom.

On the 3rd floor is an apartment with an independent entrance consisting of a large living room with a fireplace and open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartments are connected by an internal staircase.

Next to the house is a patio with a gazebo—an ideal place for outdoor dining. On the ground floor is the ancient mill with large stone millstones and a wood-fired oven. On this same level is a small guest apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, living room/bedroom with windows overlooking the stream flowing under the bridge. Also on this floor is a utility room with laundry and storage.
