House with Garden in Old Town Rethymno, Crete

The entrance to the house, which is right on an alley in the Old Town, opens onto a staircase leading to a terrace. From there there is access to the kitchen/living room and bedrooms, and through another door there is separate access to a bathroom and a small room. The kitchen area is indeed spacious, with high-quality marble floors that can be preserved, as well as a fireplace/stove connected to a Turkish bath (the house has Turkish/Venetian design). The steam produced when water boils in the fireplace area naturally flows into the Turkish bath. Another staircase connects the terrace to the roof, from which there is a view over the entire Old Town and two minarets. On the ground floor there is access to a back yard/garden full of trees. There is also a basement that can be used for storage or additional rooms. In the basement there is still a place where grapes were once pressed for wine production.
